[K-pop] Why did Got7 members go to the separate ways after contraction with JYP?

Got7 - not God7 even thought both of them sound the same in Korean - is a Korean boyband consisting of 7 members.

Four of them are Koreans, and the others are from USA, Hong Kong and Thailand.

They debuted from JYP in 2014. Now the band became a world-class idol.

Unlike other bands, Got7 has been known for its teamwork. The members showed good and strong relationship among them frequently. Then why did they agree to dismantle the band?



According to the people around them, they still don't have any problem with each other. But each member has their own goal to succeed. For example, Jin-young, a vocal in the band, wants to be an actor. Meanwhile, You-gyeom is about to make a contract with a Hip-hop label.

I totally agree with their ideas. They have spend 7 years as a team. Now, it's time to show themselves to the world. Honestly, I'm not a big fan of Got7. But, I really hope them to succeed in their own way.
